Buying a press brake buys you a machine. Producing repeatable parts on that press brake is a discipline — and one where most sheet-metal shops silently fail.
What actually drifts
- Material batches — even certified stock varies in yield strength
- Tool wear — even small punch-tip rounding shifts bend angles
- Operator technique — hand-loading, back-gauge use, timing
- Ambient temperature — hydraulic system response is temperature-dependent
How we hold the angle across a run
Our Yawei press brake runs a laser angle-measurement system, so every bend closes the loop against a target angle rather than a target ram position. Combined with test coupons at start-of-shift, mid-shift and end-of-shift, we keep programme parts inside ±0.5° across full production windows.
The customer sees a bent part. What they're paying for is the discipline that keeps the ten-thousandth part identical to the first.
